An alcoholic beverage known in the film for being a key factor to Cecil's success in his White House interview as he surprisingly knew quite a lot about it.

Very popular celebration alcoholic beverage that was also served at Cecil's birthday which also happened to be the night that Cecil and gloria got the message of their youngest son Charlie being killed in action in the Vietnam War.

A refreshing beverage that was prepared the night of Cecil's birthday and stereotypically favored by African Americans as well.

A worldwide phenomenon in the industry of caffeinated beverages, commonly served in the morning, but also occasionally as a dessert beverage after dinner; very graphically thrown in Louis' face by a white young man at a diner as he and the Freedom Riders were protesting the segregated sections.
